Belly Band for the Irish

Last week was St. Patrick's Day and I made a couple of Irish Soda Breads.  One for my husband and the other for a friend who was having a hard week.  I created a belly band for the bread to dress it up for our friend.  I used a retired stamp set and designer series paper along with Rich Razzleberry ink and gold embossing powder.

Have a great day!

DIY Mason Jar Project

Hi and Happy Summer!!!!!!  It's been a long time since I've posted.  It's been a busy summer so far and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon.  With just a few months of this awesome weather I've been spending a lot of time at the beach.  How about you?  I hope your summer is going great too!

Today I do not have a card to share, but I do have a DIY project.  Mason jars have been all the rage and I'm a little late to the party, but I will finally share my take on this great and easy project.  Below are the three jars I recently made for a display in my bedroom.  I'm really happy with the result.  I watched a couple of tutorials - some used different techniques than others.  I chose the quick route and chalk painted the jars twice and then wax sealed them.  Pop over to "youtube" and you will find lots of tutorials.

I hope to be back in August with a card for my "Make it Monday" series.  In the meantime,
Happy Summer!

"Make It Monday" - Made with Love

Well it's Monday and time for another "Make It Monday" card.  Yesterday I went to a baby shower for my cousin Mary Jean's daughter, Caitlin.   Caitlin is not going to find out the baby's gender until it is born (yeah for surprises!!!) so I decided to keep the card in a gender neutral color of yellow or better known to my fellow Stampin' UP! demos as "Daffodil Delight".  I saw this wonderful card done in a pink and blue version featured on Julie Kettlewell's blog (oh how I love her work)and thought it would work well in yellow too.

All of the products used for this project are listed below and are from Stampin' UP! Don't forget to use June's Hostess code when shopping in my online store (see below).

Have a wonderful week!!!!!
